This policy explains what information the Swarnkar Samaj platform collects, why it is used, who can access it, and the choices available to members.
यह नीति बताती है कि स्वर्णकार समाज प्लेटफ़ॉर्म कौन-सी जानकारी एकत्र करता है, उसका उपयोग क्यों किया जाता है, उसे कौन देख सकता है और सदस्यों के पास कौन-से विकल्प हैं।
Information we collect / हम कौन-सी जानकारी लेते हैं
- Account details such as name, email and encrypted password.
- Matrimonial profile, family, education, profession, location and partner-preference details you provide.
- Guardian number and photos subject to your visibility choices.
- Verification status and, during manual review, an authenticated identity-document image.
- Interests, shortlists, blocks, reports, profile views, login activity and encrypted chat messages.
- Census account and family information submitted through the social-census service.

How information is used / जानकारी का उपयोग कैसे होता है
We use information to operate accounts, review community membership, calculate matches, enforce privacy choices, deliver chat and notifications, prevent misuse, investigate reports and maintain service security.

Who can see your information / आपकी जानकारी कौन देख सकता है
Approved members may see profile fields according to your profile, photo, name, last-active and guardian-number settings. Administrators can access information needed for approval, safety and support. Public landing cards are shown only with explicit consent, and each optional detail—profile photo, first name, age, location and profession—is controlled separately in Settings. Full name and contact details are never included.

Service providers / सेवा प्रदाता
Infrastructure providers may process limited data on our behalf, including database hosting, Cloudinary media storage, email delivery and application hosting. We do not sell member personal information.

Security / सुरक्षा
Passwords are hashed, chat text is encrypted at application level, identity documents and restricted profile media use authenticated storage, and private API responses are not publicly cached. No online system can guarantee absolute security.

- Resolved reports and moderation audits: 1095 days after resolution.
- Deleted accounts: 30 days before permanent anonymization.
- Identity documents: Deleted immediately after review; a pending copy is removed during account anonymization.
- Identity verification history: Retained while the account is active and removed during account anonymization.
- Chat messages: 90 days.

Your choices and rights / आपके विकल्प और अधिकार
You can change profile visibility, pause discovery, hide photos or contact information, download a copy of your account data, withdraw public-preview consent, or request account deletion from Settings. Contact the community administrator for correction, access or deletion assistance.
आप Settings से profile visibility बदल सकते हैं, discovery pause कर सकते हैं, photos या contact information छिपा सकते हैं, account data download कर सकते हैं, public-preview consent वापस ले सकते हैं या account deletion request कर सकते हैं। Correction, access या deletion सहायता के लिए community administrator से संपर्क करें।
Policy updates / नीति में बदलाव
When this policy materially changes, a new version will be published. New registrations must accept the current version; existing members may be asked to review important updates.
इस नीति में महत्वपूर्ण बदलाव होने पर नया version प्रकाशित किया जाएगा। नए registrations को current version स्वीकार करना होगा और existing members से महत्वपूर्ण updates की समीक्षा करने को कहा जा सकता है।
